The stylist's latest charitable project has been hosting and styling the Mission 65 fashion show in conjunction with the Whitehouse Institute of Design students and local designers. The event was a celebration and fundraiser for the Prahran Mission who have been working for the local community for 65 years.
Who said the fashion biz was all style, no substance?
The fashion show took the wartime mantra of "make do and mend" - utilising pieces from Prahran Mission's op-shops - to re-create looks inspired by the 1940's, Christian Dior's 'New Look' with a little Carmen Miranda (doesn't everybody need a little Carmen in their lives?).
