Emmanuel Giraud's GARAGE SALE

With a menu consisting of coloured popcorn, fairy bread, little boys (the sausage kind!) , cans of Budweiser and plastic cups of red and white wine... you could only have been at the opening of Emmanuel Giraud's "GARAGE SALE" Exhibition!

Emmanuel is the most recent addition to our family of talented artists. This exhibition tells the story of housemates struggling with the financial crisis and having to sell everything including their  boyfriends - true to Emmanuel's unique fashion narrative style!

The event held At Perry Lane was attended by models, press, designers and friends, all were  showering this talented photographer with praise! If you would like to see the exhibition, head to At Perry Lane (rear 264 Oxford St, via Perry Lane, Paddington) until July 8th.

All About Isabel.

Our very own Isabel Engelhardt has been one very busy lady in the past few months since joining MBB. Isabel has shot two editorials for Cherrie Magazine, a look book for Melbourne designer Erin O'Brien (styled by our very own magnificent Margaret Kernich), she will also be auctioning one of her beautiful shots at the upcoming MADC Bush Fire Appeal Charity Auction and was recently profiled on StyleMelbourne.com (who have also covered MBB artists Christian Blanchard, Philip Boon & Philippe Auger).

Garry Moore shoots for iLoad.

"We are the Navy Blues, We are the old dark Navy Blues, We’re the team that never lets you down". Something MISSBOSSYBOOTS can relate to is the Carlton Football Club anthem. Rain or shine, stadium or studio we'll produce an amazing shoot, and that is exactly what Garry Moore along with Andrea's production and Narelle's hair and make up did. Shooting for the new Hyundai iLoad Garry's coaching skills were interesting to watch. Something tells me that art director Nicolas Montenegro would liked to have been a football player - or perhaps just part of the shoot judging by that hand ball. We can assure you the brick wasn't really passed from player to player so you have our word that none of them were hurt.

Jamie Raises The Fashion Stakes @ MBB!

For anyone who has entered the doors of MBB, Jamie is the epitome of "Fashion Forward"! A smorgasbord of colourfull Ponchos, "Meggins", shredded Jeans, over-sized Tees and non-prescription Nerd glasses are regularly sported by this young fashionista.

Captured below donning a workman's jumpsuit, we wondered if this was a new "look" to coincide with his coming-of-legal age this weekend... but alas, Jamie was merely protecting his apparel beneath during a day of studio renovations not to be outdone by Garry's overalls.

Are Nigel and Philip Australias Next Top Model?

They're most certainly not... but what we do know is that they both made a guest appearance on last nights episode. Head of Make Up for Maybelline New York Nigel Stanislaus and celebrity stylist Philip Boon both did us proud. Although whilst watching I must say we were quite concerned in regards to Philips attitude towards Nigel... rest assured it was all a set up.

Ready to Munch.

During my morning travel to work I noticed a familiar campaign down at Malvern Station.

Heather Dinas' is the photographer behind the Munch series for 7'Eleven appearing at a 7'Eleven convenience store and/or Station near you. 

Below you will see just how much thought and definition goes into food shoots like these as Georgia Young uses tweezers to place the stuffing in a 'Munch Chicken Sandwich'. Feeling hungry?

Chop Bang Clickty Clack.

Yes it has been quite noisy in the MBB office this past week. Why you ask? Well that's because MBB is renovating the studio downstairs. We're taking out the old and bringing in the new. Below you will see images of Garry putting together a cyc which we're all pretty excited about. I'm sure Garry can't wait to take it for a test drive. I can't wait for the glorious task of painting the beast this coming Wednesday, and I'm sure we'll get a few fun photos from that. Till then, goodbye.

Teresa Liano arrived early morning on set to shoot her latest look book along with Philip Boon and Narelle Hall. With Teresa's amazing collection, Philip's elegant styling and Narelle's refined hair and make up the trio pulled off some amazing shots, and non of that would be possible without the lovely model Chrissy. I'm sure we'll be the first to get our hands on this look book but for now... enjoy these behind the scene images.

Welcome french photographer - Philippe Auger. I had the pleasure of joining Philippe this morning to watch him in action, along side noted celebrity stylist Philip Boon and fabulous hair and make up artist Narelle Hall, the trio whipped up quite an amazing shoot. Bon appetit!

When everyone at MISSBOSSYBOOTS received a txt from Gina on the 10th of April we were no less than ecstatic to hear that she gave birth to a very healthy baby boy - Max Emanuel Zammit born on 09/04/09 at 1:15pm.

Some snap shots sent waves of 'Awwws' and 'Ahhhs' around the office. Looks like Max may have a career in modeling judging by the pout he's already perfected.

Congratulations to Gina + Gerard, may you have plenty of nice and warm sleepless nights.

Jesper Nielsen shoots latest Target campaign.

Our ever so lovely photographer Jesper Nielsen recently took on the latest Target campaign, with the weather on our side the afternoon was a breeze with clear sailing ahead. The clothing styled by Margaret Kernich and the Hair and Make Up done by Narelle Hall we were ready to roll ahead of schedule. Of course MBB never passes up to take a few snaps. Enjoy.
