So Long.. Farewell Gina. (not too long though)

Friday the 27th of February was the day we fare-welled Gina (our much loved accounts lady) and wished her the best of luck as she embarks on a journey into motherhood. The rest of the Bossy's will have to get used to not hearing 80's songs sung during random times of the day, not drinking 99% fat free chocolate frappes and not receiving the weekly Aldi newsletter. Even though she'll be away for a short time she will be dearly missed!

Garry rose to new heights.

As the workers at MISSBOSSYBOOTS were quietly typing away, answering phone calls and drinking icy cold frappes, Garry Moore had managed to pull out his rock climbing gear, tie himself to the support timber and hang up the last image to the new collection of wall-art from our new and current photographers. Of course MISSBOSSYBOOTS would never pass up an invitation to take a few snaps. Enjoy.

Moore for MINI

Garry Moore our beloved photographer has yet again taken himself and his crew out on location to shoot the latest campaign for MINI.
The sun was shining,  the birds were chirping, the crew were full of beans ready to shoot and as always everything ran smoothly.
Everyone should keep their eyes peeled for an amazing campaign.

Uber-cool Advertising Whiz Kid

Did you know - Dean Drieberg is an 'Uber-cool Advertising Whiz Kid'?
MISSBOSSYBOOTS didn't until we flicked through to page 12 of the 'City Weekly' magazine.
Check it out for yourself - to view a bigger version just click on the image below.
Cheers

Chr!stian does M!MCO.

As the new year began and everyone was slowly easing into the well known fact that work was just around the corner, eager Christian and the Bossy crew were up and running ensuring everything ran smoothly on the recent MIMCO shoot.
Gale force winds, heavy rain and the glaring sun was not enough to stop Mr Blanchard, producing some amazing shots, everyone should keep their eyes peeled for the campaign and 'The Making Of' video to be posted on their website soon.

CHRISTIAN WA S THIRSTY.

On Wednesday 10th of December, Cult denim label Nobody launched their charity t-shirt (each t-shirt sold gives 2 people clean drinking water in Africa for 20 years).
Christian Blanchard shot a series of portraits to promote the charity and attended the launch in Sydney with his celebrity subjects.

From Left to Right: Alex Dimitriades, Gracie Otto, Ruby Rose.

Nigel gets a warning from Christian "Hands off my producer and retoucher".

Christian and Dean praise Prasana for her fabulous work on the event.

The film industry's next big thing (Gracie Otto) points the finger at her favorite photographer.

Regent St Christmas Party.

So as the children of Melbourne were being put to bed, the Bossy team put on their boots and headed down Regent St way for Jesper's annual Christmas Party. Champagne with a side of vegetarian sausages was on the menu for the night, champagne being the more popular option, watching classics like 'The Gremlins' and taking a few stumbling trips to the photo booth, a fun time was had by all. Merry X-mas everyone.

Working On Weekends = No Dramas! ALSO Virginia and the VAC are winners.

Last weekend MBB welcomed back one of our favorite photographers Virginia Cummins.
Virginia shot the upcoming "DRAMA DOWN UNDER" campaign for the Vic Aids Council.
Virginia had shot a campaign previously for the VAC which picked up the award for best campaign at the 2008 ALSO Foundation Awards.

Dean does his best fire impersonation to heat up the model.

Narelle didn't disappoint with her entertaining ways.

The model swore vendetta on Narelle if she got any make up in his eye.

The multi-talented Virginia stepped in to trim the models hair.

Jason from the VAC was wrapped...or was it tied?

A Day in The Desert.

Our beloved fashion photographer Christian Blanchard took his crew to the sandhills outside of Mildura to shoot for a massive men's fashion retailer. Once again the shenanigans have been captured on film.

Unfortunately our regular make up artist was not available we had to enlist the help of a local bee keeper to groom the talent.

Our make up artist was unavailable because she had been employed to harass Christian...

...And entertain the client with sand hill races.

Garry Made Tea.

The staff at MISSBOSSYBOOTS are still in shock after witnessing this rare event, which has been captured on camera. This occurrence has been likened to Halley's Comet. Truly a once in a lifetime event.

MISSBOSSYBOOTS gets animated.

Garry Moore recently put his brain survival power to the test when he took on board the Slurpee Kick job. Over 7 days of shooting thousands upon thousands of frames.
The end result is something we're all very proud of, check out the work below.

missBOOZYboots.

On Friday 26th of September, MISSBOSSYBOOTS opened its doors and alcohol supply to some of our favorite creatives, Drinks began early afternoon out in the sun on the balcony and ended up on the couch with a few unstable stayers who shall remain anonymous.

Keep your ears and your eyes peeled for our next impromptu gathering.

Pop it, AMSTEL style.

The Notorious Christian Blanchard recently bar-hopped around Perth and Melbourne promoting AMSTEL beer. Christian and his crew were seen popping beers at random venues.
They're still trying to get the beer stains out of their clothes.
